Bringing farm-fresh local ingredients to every dish.

Why is buying local harder?

Every day, chefs in restaurants, schools, employee cafes, and hospitals are deciding where to buy their ingredients.  The easy path is to purchase mass-produced food from large vendors who import it long distances, and will deliver it on demand.  But convenience comes at a price to flavor, nutrition, and the local economy.

The harder path is finding local farms who can deliver consistent products at the volume needed for a commercial kitchen, building relationships with the farmers, and maintaining communications every week to place orders and figure out who will have what products for how long for menu planning.

FeedMeLocL helps make buying local as easy as buying imported!

Farm Local, Buy Local, Eat Local

The local food ecosystem deserves the same simplicity as mass-produced and distributed food.  That's what we do at FeedMeLocL.

Farm Local, Buy Local, Eat Local

The local food ecosystem deserves the same simplicity as mass-produced and distributed food.  That's what we do at FeedMeLocL.

Growers participating in FeedMeLocal can easily manage their products from seed to sale.  We provide a simple mobile app that helps track production, record losses, plan harvests, and market their product to local chefs and other participating buyers in a personal, yet efficient way.  We make the order and transaction easy so chefs and farmers can spend more time collaborating on important things like what to produce, and how to use it.

Chefs participating in FeedMeLocal can shop local farmers as easily as they can order from large distributors.  With our mobile app, they can learn about the farm, see what is available now and in the future, communicate with farmers about specialty products, or just place orders, and be confident that they will receive the product.  Together, local chefs and local farmers can elevate the flavor and health of food being served in a region.
